One or more margins are set outside the printable area of the page

I am printing with mirror margins and have these settings:

Inside = .64"
Outside = .56"
Gutter = 5.5"

The .56" is the result of Word "fixing" my margins." When I try to print, I
get this message:

"One or more margins of section one are set outside the printable area of
the page." This message appears for each of the three sections. I haven't
figured out where the trouble is. In fact, it is a suddenly new problem.
Any suggestions?

A 1200 dpi laser is going to be better than a 300 dpi inkjet/bubble jet. A
600 dpi laser is still probably going to be better than a 300 dpi
inkjet/bubble jet. Even though the output of the inkjet looks very crisp to
the unaided eye, if you examine the printout under magnification, you'll see
that the laser output is sharper. For most pedestrian purposes (office
copying, school handouts), this will not make any difference. For something
as important as a book or other publication, the sharper the better,
especially if it's offset-printed, since there's usually some inevitable dot
gain that way. The last book I typeset, the printer specifically required
1200 dpi CRC.
