I continually receive the following message. (Could not complete operation.
One or more parameter values are not valid.) I have tried Method 1 and method
2 of (http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=kb;EN-US;Q197036#kb1). Method 3 is
not valid for my Outlook Office XP because my search failed to find
(exchng32.exe) file.
The following operations produce the Subject message (Could not complete the
operations One or more parameter values are not valid.)
Tasks
Contacts
Calendar

E-mail will only send emails to Outbox.
I am at a loss as what to do other than select another vendors Office
productivity applications. your suggestions are welcome

Thank you for your assistance. I am running neither Palm software nor Live
Meeting. I am running ActiveSync 3.7 and Microsoft Pocket PC for my HP iPAQ

I would try renaming the outcmd.dat and *.srs files while Outlook is closed
and then opening Outlook to see if there is any improvement. You can also run
detect and repair from the help menu. You can also delete and recreate the
profile.
If that doesn't help, please post back.

David, here are a couple of suggestions. First, this error may be
related to how you are sending the messages. Check this link for
additional information:

Less likely, but you may also get this message if you're taking
advantage of an XP SP1 feature that allows you to read non-encrypted
email as plain text:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/307594

You might try "Detect & Repair" under the Help menu, which might serve
to resolve issues between the server and the local .pst/.ost files. If
you go this route, you will likely need your original Office disks.

I tried to locate outcmd.dat and *.srs and after several searchs it appeared
that fortunes were limited, in fact, empty. Although, If I had located them I
don't know how I would have executed your suggestion. Again, thank you for
your kind offer of assistance.

Thank you for your information. I followed your suggestions and the
directions given to me at the websites you identified to no avail. I was most
hopeful when watching the "Detect and Repair" with all of the activity.

The outcmd.dat and *.srs files are hidden. You have to open Windows Explorer
and click on Tools, Folder Options, click on the View tab, then click "Show
hidden files and folders". Then you can simply use your file/folder search
function (Start, Search). When you find the files, which should be under your
user profile, just highlight the filename, right click, and scroll to rename.
Make sure you do this while Outlook is closed.
