My OneNote upgrade decided to go into my documents and make a few copies of
folders I had, so that it could claim them as its own ("OneNote Notebooks"
folder that it created on its own). Now, when I try to get the parent
directory which houses this AND my actual folders to be the primary location,
it just goes to the OneNote Notebooks directory as the only one it'll accept.
Considering this little copy is about 7 Gb, this just ain't gonna fly. So
several questions.

First, can I just delete that notebook, and not have it care?
Second, if not, how can I redirect away from it (although this is a
disastrous scenario if I cannot just get rid of the extra 6Gb of space).

Thx.

I'm having a little trouble following you here. You installed OneNote 2007
and it created the OneNote Notebooks folder, got that.

So you're trying to set your primary location instead to the My Documents
folder?

What "little copy" is 7GB?

I was jokingly saying that it copied the two main document folders (both of
which were under My Documents), and that is an extra 7Gb of space. And I
want the default location to be the actual My Documents folder, in which I
have those two original subfolders. Instead, it is taking the "OneNote
Notebooks" that it itself created within My Documents (again, those are
copies of my existing large folders there) and using those as the default
(and won't let me shift away from them.
