I have been using OneNote 2003 version for some time now and had downloaded
various powertoys to print to onenote, copy web pages to onenote, etc.
I downloaded the trial for 2007 today. I did not convert my 2003 notebook
nor did I remove 2003. I understood if I did this, I could still use 2003.
This is true - no problem with opening and editing 2003 notebook pages from
within ON2003. Problem is, with the trial, I can't seem to open a new page
or do anything with it beyond viewing the getting started and cool features
pages that are there. The majority of the features on the drop down menus
are grayed out - for instance, if I drop down file - new - only options
available are page from template (which does nothing) and explain choices.
Surely I don't need to convert my 2003 notebook to 2007 to use the trial? I
don't want to do that because I may not purchase 2007 and am afraid then my
2003 notebook would be rendered useless. Disaster!
Thanks for your help -
