OneNote 2003 compatibility with Office XP

I have Office XP (not 2003). Can I install OneNote 2003, or does it only
work with Office 2003?

Office 2003, Crystal. Office XP (or the 2002 version products) isn't aware
of OneNote at all.

OneNote 2003's integration into the other Office products should be
considered anemic at best. IMO, there is no meaningful integration and
you should investigate if upgrading to Office 2003 "just because of
OneNote" is worth it.
I suggest that it is not.
I suspect OneNote 12 will do better in this respect.

I actually agree -- the only really useful integration, in my opinion, is
the ability to easily e-mail notes to others. You can e-mail them with
Outlook XP too, but only as an attachment like any other file. How
important that is to somebody will vary I guess.

It certainly does.
