I had OneNote 2003 installed and working. I tried the 2007 beta but then I
removed it. Now when I start OneNote 2003 my last project appears but then I
get the message box "Microsoft Office OneNote X Microsoft Office OneNote has
not been installed for the current user. Please run setup to install the
application." When I click OK OneNote Closes.
When I run setup from the CD, I am prompted for the 25-character Product
Key. When I click OK I get the message box "Microsoft Office OneNote Setup
cannot continue because the installation source has been corrupted." When I
click OK the setup is cancelled.
I have successfully installed it another PC so I know my disk is good. I
think something went wrong when I installed/uninstalled Office 2007.
It is no longer listed in Add/Remove programs. Honestly, I forgot how I got
rid of it! I think each time I ran the remove or repair I got the message
box indicating the installation source is corrupt.
I have tried it as the "Administrator" and with users who are in the
administrator group.
Any ideas appreciated.
Thank you,
