I've seen a few VERY old posts on this (pre-SP1), but I've never seen a
resolution. On my son's Toshiba M200 tablet, he'll occasionally end up
in OneNote 2003 SP2 with the pen unable to get out of eraser mode. I
can't provide much detail since he's at school, but it seems that he'll
be writing just fine, reverse the pen to erase, and when he flips it
back to write, he still gets the big eraser block. I think the only
way he's found to fix this is by exiting OneNote an re-launching it.
AFAIK, this has only started very recently. The only change I know of
is the addition of Microsoft's Windows Defender, OneCare, and upgrade
from IE6 to IE7. Has anyone else seen this recently? Is there a
process to recover (besides re-starting the application)?
