Is there a way to sort the note tabs alphabetically?

Yes, but you have to do it manually unfortunately.

Do you want to sort section tabs (which are across the top of the
page) or page tabs (which are down the side)? The two techniques are
different.

I would love to see this feature automated in the next version.

Thanks for your response. I'm looking to sort the page tabs on the side.

Jay,

There are a couple of ways to do this. I will describe one.

1. Click on a page tab. It will turn a deep orange colour
2. Click on it again and don't let the mouse button come up
3. Slowly (particularly the first time) drag upwards (if that is the
desired direction).

At the outside edge of the tabs a small dark blue triangle will show
you where the page will be inserted if you release the mouse button

4. Release the mouse button at the desired position

It takes longer to describe than to do. :)

Me too.
And I would like to see an automatic index page to show all my
pages,sections and flolders, also.

I concur with both of you on this one.

In this thread you answer the question of how to sort the page tabs. You say
the
procedure is different for sorting section tabs at the top of the page. Can
you explain the latter?

I know this thread is old but this is the closest hit I can find in my
search on how to sort section tabs. Thanks.

You can drag and drop the page tabs on the right to reorder them. To
reorder the section tabs you have to right-click the tab and select move.
