Onenote 2003

Running windows 2000 at work and want to buy onenote. 2007 will not work
even with any SP fixes right? So I was trying to buy 2003 but it is off the
shelf?

What can I do....buy different note taking software or wait for 5 years for
my office to update the operating system?

Buy from amazon or seomthing.
Waiting 5 years does not make sense since there is no software that can
really compete with ON out there,
as far as I know.

Correct. OneNote 2007 will not run on Windows 2000, and service packs have
not added that support.

You could always try Virtual PC or some other virtualization software if
your company is willing to give that a try (as a migration path maybe?)
