I want to work with OneNote 2007 and Office/Outlook 2003. Is there an
official position on whether this is recommended? Or works?
There are several people in here who use OneNote together with Outlook
2003. Maybe one of them can give some feedback on how well this works?
I guess I would uprade Office to 2007 but then how is compatibility
with Office 2003 which all my collegues/clients are on?
The only program that is critical for working together with OneNote is
Outlook. So you only would have to upgrade that one, and could stay with
the rest of the suite at the 2003 level.
The rest of 2007 suite has new file formats, but you can set it so that
it never uses them. However, the UI is completely different in those
programs, so that could become an issue. I suggest you find out online
more about Office 2007 (you can start with my website e.g.) and then
decide what to do.
