OneNote 2007 and Outlook 2007 Issue?

E

EricSB

Greetings,

I make extensive use of OneNote, especially for keeping notes on
development tasks for sharing with other teammates. Our development boxes
were recently upgraded from Windows Server 2003 32 Bit to Windows Server 2008
64 bit. Most everything is working flawlessly, however, I've noticed a small
issue that I'm not sure how to fix. Previously when using the "File ->
Email" menu item the OneNote entry would be embedded directly into the
Outlook message, however, no matter what settings I change I cannot get the
same behavior on the new install, now not matter what I do, the one note
entries are added as attachments to the email. Any suggestions on things I
can try to correct this?

For verification I've checked the following things:
1) Ensured the Outlook is setup to use HTML rather than Plain Text (Should
be this RTF or is HTML Ok?)
2) Ensured that other OneNote/Outlook integration features work (They do, I
can send emails to OneNote, create tasks, etc..)
3) Scoured Bing (Yes, I choose Bing first!) then Google and cannot seem to
find anything specific to my issue.

Any help on this would be very much appreciated!

Thanks,
Eric

Just a hunch - see if the steps here would help: 'David Rasmussen'

It could be that it's related to the Print-to-OneNote issues on 64-bi

Ben,

Thanks a ton for your reply! I downloaded it, installed it and gave it a
shot. Unfortunately that did not resolve the issue but it was worth trying!
:)

Thanks again!

Eric
