After you complete the registration and you selected the programs that you
wanted to download there was a page listing those applications you choose to
test. On that page you can click a direct link to the download, atleast
that is what I saw when I tested this earlier in the day.

We are aware of these problems and they are working to resolve them, sorry
for the inconvenience.

I didn't have a direct link to the download the files. I had to download and
install a "download manager", without much explanation of what it does
(called Smartsource). The download manager doesn't work. It asks me for my
email address, then says "invalid!". It has a lovely 6 inch message with
"error!" in bright red. Lovely.

Be patient ;) Everyone in the world is hammering MS' servers to get this.
You have to expect a lot of traffic in the first few hours (no matter how
many resources MS has thrown at this download system).

By tomorrow, it should be better.

I would if the download manager Smartsource actually worked!

Don't rush, it's just destroyed 80% of my notes during "upgrade"!
Thank goodness for backups :)

Gordon could you explain how OneNote destroyed 80% of your notes? If you
want you can log a bug (details soon).

I would love to hear what what happened, we have tested this a lot and
upgrade seems to work pretty well for large numbers of users. I want to know
what is different for you. Thank you!
