Onenote 2007 email will not work

G

Gus

I have new computer with Windows Vista and have laptop with Windows XP. I
purchased 2007 Office Home and Student. OneNote application is launching but
I am unable to create e-mail, send e-mail or set up for e-mail. Is there a
way to set up one note for e-mail?

OneNote is not an email application, it is a note taking application. If you
are using Vista, check out Windows Mail, it is an upgraded version of
Outlook Express.

Are you trying to use OneNote as email client or do you want to just
send notes from OneNote via email (using Windows Mail?)?

To add to what Kathy and Patrick said -- Microsoft Office 2007 Home and
Student Edition does not include an e-mail application (like Outlook).
You'd have to use Windows Mail (or get something like Eudora or some other
mail app) or buy Outlook separately.

I know that MVPs will object but it could be nice if ON would support email
features.
Imagine you write an email on a page and directly push the send button.
So easy and useful.

I dont know what future brings;
that MS may keep ON and, say, Outlook seperated to have a range of rpoducts.
But it is also tempting to combine feautres in ON.
