OneNote 2007 Freezes- Please Help

Zach

I'm running Vista Business, on a new machine (dual core, 2ghz, 1 gb ram, 80g
hd), and all of a sudden OneNote 2007 started freezing on startup; One of two
things happens: either 1) the program will plainly not start or 2) an error
dialogue box shows up giving me the options of erasing cache, checking
microsoft.com for updates, etc..- i've tried all of those options, and the
only one that gets the program to open is deleting the cache. Once the
program is open though and i try to open up a saved section, as soon as the
section opens up the program freezes. every time. Please advise, as I have
important information there that i'm not able to access. Thanks.

The next time the freezeup happens, could you make sure to have Windows
send an error report (I think it calls it checking for solutions in
Vista). If you could then post the bucket number I can take a look at
the report. You can find instructions for getting the bucket number
here: http://blogs.msdn.com/descapa/archive/2006/05/25/606732.aspx

If you don't mind sharing the information, you could also email me a
copy of the section, which might make it easier to find the problem.
