I'm not sure if anyone has noticed this.
I am running Onenote 2007 B2TR and it handles handwritten files very
badly.
Ok, I was doing a mindmap using OneNote, and so the entire page (fixed
@ A4 size since I was going to print it out) was all handwriting.
However, I realized that the more I wrote, the more sluggish it got.
Towards the end even switching from pen to eraser had a 5 second lag
time...
My system resources climbed to 1GB+ pretty quickly, and just for the
sake of it I continued writing. Onenote 2007 exhuasted all my 1GB of
physical RAM and system resources climbed to 1.6GB+. Virtual Memory
usage at that time was 1.1GB. To continue my work, I had to continually
close and restart the program, at about every 15-30min intervals, to
prevent my system resources from scaling such great heights.
Btw I don't have much running the background. 450MB system resources
taken up on bootup.
So... has this memory leak or poor ability to handle heavy inking been
fixed in the final release?
Has anyone tried the final version yet?
