i've new to this software

but when i try to move a page to another session, both occupy the same memory
e.g. the page is 30MB due to pics
was move from session A (originally 31MB) to session B (originally 10MB)
now session A is still 31MB while B is 40MB

same occur with delete page, occupied space wont be release

how to delete those traces completely to decrease the space occupied????

You can manually compact the *.ONE files (see Ben's response for details)
but you shouldn't need to worry about that space or any discrepancy in file
sizes.

ON manages the files for you, and will eventually reuse that space or
compact the file during one of its automated maintenance periods. This is
a widely-used technique in random access files or in database files.
Assuming that you have HD space to spare, there's zero advantage in
immediately shrinking the file size when something is deleted or changed.
