OneNote 2007 not part of Office 2007 Professional?

Is this True.

I've just downloaded the Office 2007 trial and the M$ web site did not
indicate that OneNote 2007 was part of Office 2007 Professional. Is
this really the case?

I have not installed it yet as I am going to install it into a
different partition on my disk and I need to copy the live partition
first.

If so, I'll be very disapointed...

John.

Thanks Ilya,

I'm very dispointed...

M$ are trying to promote this product as a serious tool for office
workers. As such, I cannot understand why it is not in Office 2007
Professional.

More cost as I think OneNote is great (I'm currently running a trial
that ends in Jan 2008). I have Office XP Pro and wanted to upgrade to
2007 Pro. But it now seems I need to buy OneNote 2007 separately.

Ho hum...

John.

Don't understand the disappointment. I understand that you were hoping to
get it by upgrading your Office XP Pro to Office 2007 Pro, but was OneNote
included in Office XP pro? It's not like you can't get OneNote, it just
doesn't come with that package. It does come with Office Enterprise 2007,
Office Ultimate 2007, Office Home and Student 2007. That means it is
included in 3 of the 7 Office packages. You can actually upgrade your
Office XP Pro to Office XP Ultimate (

but you are going to have to decide if it is cheaper to bump up the upgrade
or buy OneNote outright.
