OneNote 2007 Trial - Nothing Works

Vista Ultimate 64-bit, Office 2007. Product is activated, trial expires
10/31/09.
App starts but pretty much all I can do is look at it.
99% of all menu options are grayed out, including New --> Page.
Cannot edit existing sample pages, nothing.
I click the 'Send to OneNote' button in an Outlook email and get the error:

'The OneNote add-in cannot connect to OneNote. Make sure that OneNote
add-ins are enabled in the Add-Ins category of the OneNote application
options'

Options are grayed out.
OneNote add-in is enabled in Outlook.
Did I miss a step or something?

Never mind. Performed solution of last resort: Rebooted. All is well.

Run a repair in Program/Program Features.
