Onenote 2007

Could someone tell me how I can get the "quick launch" shortcut back
into my startup folder? A Onenote icon used to appear in my taskbar at
startup, but for some reason it doesn't anymore. I've tried re-
activating the "show icon in taskbar" option, but it only shows the
icon until I restart the pc.
I've even just reinstalled onenote, but even then no shortcut is
placed into the startup folder.

Thanks for you help.
Cheers, Zweibel

I looked up on my system, there is a shortcut in my start up folder that
opens the icon launcher,

what you have to do is to create a shortcut in the Startup folder with the
following paramater:

"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12\ONENOTEM.EXE" /tsr

(or some thing that leeds to onenotem.exe with /tsr paramater)

hope it helps

Thanks, but how do I create a shortcut with a parameter? Although I
could locate onenotem.exe in that folder, Vista doesn't allow me to
add the /tsr parameter - it says the file does not exist. If I leave
the parameter away, then it finds the file, but of course doesn't load
"quick launch".

No, actually it does work, I just hadn't put the inverted commas.
Thanks a lot, mate!

The easiest way:
From the menu "Tools | Options | Other", activate the option to show
the icon in the toolbar.
