OneNote ActiveSync

I had a problem once in which one of my Customer was using OneNote and
Microsoft ActiveSync software that basically allows to synchronize your PDA
with OneNote, and other applications.

Now, the issue was he doesn't wanted OneNote to synchronize with ActiveSync,
he told that he doesn't wanted ActiveSync to start whenever he is using
OneNote.
Any suggestions will be highly appreciated

I presume that he has the command:

Tools>>Copy from PC and Smartphone>>Copy Automatically

Checked. If the customer unchecks it, I think that would solve the problem.
