OneNote always running?

Windows task manager shows that OneNote is always running in the background
whenever I startup my Toshiba tablet. Is this normal, or do I need to change
a setting to keep this from occuring?

If you're running the OneNote's icon in the notification area of the Taskbar
(Tools/Options/Other) then yes, it launches the Quick Launch icon upon
boot-up.

Task Manager on a desktop will show OneNoteM.exe running if you have
the OneNote icon in the taskbar. And OneNote.exe running if you have
opened OneNote.

Hi Matt,

If you want to stop it running, then go to the task bar
Start/Allprograms/Startup and delete the entry for OneNote.
