Onenote and outlook tasks

My task folder size in outlook is 15Meg. I have deleted and archived tasks
but it is still 15Meg. I was wondering why this is?

Might it be because I have tasks created in onenote that are not being
deleted? If so what shuldI do to reduce the size of my task folder?
