OneNote automatically goes to US English. This is very annoying.

I live and go to school in Canada, thus, I need to use Canadian English.

I love OneNote as a program, but everytime I open a new page, its
automatically in US English. I can not for the life of me make it
automatically go into Canadian English. I have my system set to Canadian
English, MS Office WORD is set to Canadian English, however in OneNote US
English is the default.

I would like to know how, or have a function to change OneNote's default
language settings.

What do you have set in Regional Settings in Control Panel?

I seem to have British English spell checking in OneNote. I assume it
comes from my Regional Settings in Control Panel.

I have the same problem here in Iceland
And my Regional Settings are set to Iceland, Windows is set to Icelandic.
And a big part of Office is set to Icelandic language (Outlook Word and
Excel).
But when I start a not from Blank the language is set to english(u.s.)

What language is the keyboard you are using? If it is en-us, then it will be
used and will override all the other settings. Adjust it in Control Panel
Regional Options.

Icelandic, I did even delete the en-us keyboard settings (witch was an
optional keyboard setting)
But when efer I start a new note by pressing, new - blank the language is
set to en-us.
