OneNote automaticly rearranging the page

When a new item is added to a page in OneNote everything automatically moves
to make room for it. Is there a way to make this NOT happen. It is not
helpful and tends to mess up everything I am trying to do on a page. Can this
"feature" be turned off?

Do you have enough room around your insertion point for the size of the item,
taking into account the defined page size?

What I would like to be able to do is insert an item regardless of its size
and not have OneNote rearrange the page, even if this causes some items to
overlap. It's hard to predict the size a picture or internet article might be
when pasted in and I would rather it overlapped other items and I was allowed
to resize the new item after I pasted it rather than having eveything on the
page move to make room for it. My question is: Does anyone know a way to turn
of the auto rearranging of the page when a new item is pasted in place.
