OneNote Button

I have a Toshiba Satellite R15 Series Tablet PC Laptop,and I am having a
problem getting the OneNote button on the side of my computer to
function. I don't recall when it stopped. Would anyone have a solution or
encountered this problem?

Do you mean a physical hardware button?

Typically that is controlled by extra drivers provided by the HW
manufacturer.

I'd start with Control Panel | Tablet and Pen options and see if one of the
settings there will let you change the behavior of the hardware buttons.

IIRC from my old Toshiba Portege, there was an extra config utility in the
Toshiba menu under the Start Menu which may have some additional
configuration options.

Does the Toshiba really have a "OneNote" button or was this just set
by you?

I'm asking because my HP tc1100 has a Journal button.
But your posting made me curious and so I checked things in the
"Tablet and Pen" options applet in the control button.
I assigned OneNote.exe to it and now ON comes up fine instead of
Journal.

Therefore many thanks for asking this question.
