Hello,
I sync ON2007 accross three computers - 2 Vista, 1 XP SP2. The file
is stored on Windows 2003 SP2, WSS Sharepoint Services 3.0 - document
library. All but the XP SP2 are on an AD Domain.
This is the second time I've gotten the following error on 1 section
of the 10 or so I have, in 1 notebook. (Yellow Exclamation) "This
section contains changes that cannot be synced because access to the
section file is denied. Correct the file permissions or save your copy
of this section elsewhere."
The following things happen after this error comes up:
- The section becomes read only.
- I can't delete the now "orphaned" section - those options are
greyed out.
- The items become read only.
- This has happened on 1 version of the syncd' notebook and on all
version of the syncd' notebook.
- The first time this happened I blamed it on (no mitigating things
have caused the second instance of this issue):
- I changed my domain Username
- I unprotected a password protected Section
Pruning, patching together & manually diffing' notebooks when this
issue happen makes this is a NO STARTER for ON 2007.
Any things to help avoid this error in the future would be great.
Thanks,
Dan
