OneNote causes problem with VSTO 2003

In the midst of working on a Visual Studio Tools for Office (VSTO) project
that uses Excel and Word, I installed the current (May 06) OneNote trial
package.

After that, I was not able to build my previously working VSTO project.
Visual studio was not able to find the files for the Microsoft.Office.Core
namespace.

A similar problem happened with MSSQL Server Express edition.

After doing a system restore to the day before, the project builds and runs
as befre the install.

Does the same problem occur when you install any of the other Office 2007
apps?

For example does the same problem occur when you install Visio or
Professional Plus? There might have been updates to the
Microsoft.Office.Core .Net assembly from Office 2003 to Office 2007.

Could that be your problem?

Kinda sounds like DLL Hell. Thought you guys got rid of that nightmare.

I have only tried 1Note and SQL Server Express (SQL 2005 Desktop Edition).
Will not try any others since my dev environment is endangered and I have
deadlines.
System Restore did really save the day.

I am not expecting a solution, just warning others to undesired behavior.
