Onenote closes Notebooks

Hi Folks,

we have one shared ON-Notebook on a fileserver.
If more than one user open the shared notebook, ON close the actual section
after a short while and creates a new section or says In this sectiongroup
are no sections.
Why do ON this?

THX for any help and sorry for my english.

We are using Onenote 2007 12.0.6415.1000 SP2 MSO 10.0.6425.1000.

The notebook is of 2-5 users simultaneously opened and edited in different
sections. Sometimes even multiple users edit/view the same note sheet. At
this time ON closes the sheet on every Client.

Try having everyone close and re-open the notebook.

Wouldn't clearing the cache by running "optimize" be recommendable in
addition?

It wouldn't hurt, but other than reducing the amount of space taken up
by the cache, it shouldn't have any additional effect. Plus the extra
space would get reclaimed eventually anyway.

Thanks for the explanation!
