Onenote compatibility with outlook 2003

after instlling trial version of one note including the addon of transfering
data from outlook to onenote, within a week or so outlook started having
problems.
It stoped sending mails from any account that I have.
Deleting the addon and creating a new profile in outlook solved the problem.
Has anybody has this phenomena?
Can this be solved?

Do you have other add-ons loaded in Outlook? What errors were you getting
when Outlook was misbehaving?

o error message, just would not send mails.
I had additional addin which is outlook backup, but it was removed first
with no help. Only after removing onenote connection did it resolve.

Yes my outlook is my designated mail program and the only one in use
