OneNote email function not working

I use OneNote frequently and have it on both my workstation and my tablet PC.
It works terrific on the tablet and I have the icon and option of emailing
my notes both under the file menu and an icon on the standard toolbar.
However, I do NOT have the email function on the workstation?

Although I use Outlook Express as my workstation email client, I have
Outlook 2003 installed and even temporarily made it the default email client
to see if that helped but it didn't.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

No error messages. Besides not displaying the email function, it is working
perfect. Under the file drop-down menu if you go to the send to, it lists MS
Word, but not email.

Additionally, I've tried the add button option on the toolbar and selected
the email command, but it has not worked either.

Thanks.

With Outlook 2003 on the desktop, what happens if you enable Word as the
email editor? I don't believe you'll have email with Outlook Express.

Interesting. So I opened Outlook 2003 and checked to discover that Word was
enabled as the email editor already. So I enabled Outlook again as the
default email client, and checked OneNote, but still no luck. However, upon
sending myself a test message through that account, and then clicking on
OneNote, the email icon popped right up on the standard toolbar.

Email still works fine through Express, but of course OneNote goes through
the Outlook 2003 client and account.

Thanks for your assistance, really appreciate it.
