OneNote feature wish-list...

NETME

First off, where has this OneNote been all my life (it is 1 of only 2
programs I leave open all day at work - the other is outlook). I
credit this program with making me a much more informed and organized
worker! Way to go MS.

Second, I would love to see a few things incorporated into the
product:

- The ability to HIDE all sub-pages until the parent page is clicked,
then the sub-pages for that parent page become visible. These
sub-pages would then become invisible again when a different parent
page is clicked. (I find I set up main pages as months, and have
weeks under those months as sub-pages. To avoid clutter, this would
be nice.).
- The ability to restrict / expand your search scope near the search
box itself.
- The ability to use OneNote with sharepoint.
- The ability to search with Regular expressions (or wild cards at the
very least).

I want to be able to collapse the subpages - I wouldn't always want them
hiding and unhiding as I moved around though.
- The ability to use OneNote with sharepoint.

As in? You can stores ones on a sharepoint site and there is a KB explaining
how to index the ones.

yep, good idea.

I'm not sure if this would make sense...
- The ability to use OneNote with sharepoint.

I agree, the Sharepoint integration is not as good as
in other Office applications, but once a OneNote file
is saved on a sharepoint site you can open it from there
and there will also be a task pane "Shared Workspace"
available within OneNote.
