OneNote Features Not Working

H

Henry

Hi:

I recently upgraded from an Evaluation copy of OneNote
obtaines online to a Purchased copy. I thought I went
through the authentication procedure ok, but I still
don't see the email icon on the standard toolbar, so I
can't email notes. Any suggestions? Do I have a current
version? I did authenticate online, and also receieved a
CD in the mail.

Thanks.

What version of Outlook are you running? The features of
OneNote that integrate with Outlook are only available if
you're running Outlook 2003.

No. Outlook 2003 is vastly superior to 2002. It has a different interface, a
different format for the pst file (though it will read the older ones),
better junk mail handling, and (most important here) works with OneNote.

In addition to what Kathy said, if you're on a Tablet PC, there is a vast
difference with the native Ink support. The Office XP (2002 version
products) only supports Ink with the add-on Tablet Pack.

Thanks for the tip. I am using a laptop and will now send
an email to my admin and demand the update so I can use
all of the features of this great package.

Thanks, Henry
