Onenote File sizes

Hi,

I have successfully managed to sync my pcc and work pc onenote folder - I
had to adjust settings in onenote but all is well.

how big does the average notes folder get ? I am very pleased with this
solution but am worried I might be ok for a week and then suddenly my pcc
will stop being able to store the files.

file size was just about 550kb. A 350 page paper is 3.57mb. So

great news, as I will never have 350 pages (I think) and have about 5mb to
spare on ppc

Here is another way to look at it... My entire notebook is 115 meg. That is
the bulk of 2 years of use, including linked files (audio, video, etc.). I
have probably much more detail in most of my notebook sections than most, as
I use it to design my classes, teach my OneNote classes, research my books,
etc.

I am a teacher and really think onenote would be excellent for me.

the problem I have is I have a network account at work that I access on my
pc in my office, pc in my class and on my tablet pc. (www.wallacehigh.org)

the problem is I want to keep up to date on my homepc too so the pocketpc
sys was the easiest I could think off.

do videos get embedded? I assumed they would be linked etc

Videos are linked, but they are stored in the folder where the .one file
holding the notes. If you move the two together, they should stay linked.
However, I would test this theory before depending on it. I don't have a PPC
or I would test it for you.

(FYI: The actual file link I know works. What I am not sure about is the
link from the actual note to the sound or movie. This is the icon that is
next to the note. It isn't really a link into the sound or video, it is a
counter telling OneNote how far into the media file to go when it is
clicked.)
