onenote gone

this a.m. when starting onenote got a message that requested me to tak
action - too many one note files? one of the answers asked abou
deleting cache - which i did. now MY ENTIRE ONENOTE notebook is gone

is there anyway to restore? i have 2 years of data stored in m
notebook
shame on me for not backing up

0.Don't panic !
1.There is a standard-backup by OneNote. Look under Tools/Options/Save
2.But at first you should search your HD for *.one-files and report
their directories to decide what their content will be.
