OneNote icon at taskbar

I have the same problem that had putertutor last june but I was not able to
contact Ben as he did to solve it, please tell me how can I have the OneNote
icon for quick side notes at the notification area of the taskbar it is not
present in my computer.

Have you gone into Tools/Options/Other and put a check mark in "Place
OneNote icon in the notification area of the taskbar"?

Victor,

Chris's suggestion may be all you need to get the icon to display.

Another possibility is that OneNoteM.exe is not starting correctly. If
Chris's suggestion doesn't solve the problem for you, open Task
Manager and on the Processes tab look to see if OneNoteM.exe is
running or not.
