Onenote Indexing

I'm trying to find a Desktop search tool that index Onenote. I don't like
WDS. Usually I use Copernic, but I'm unable to make it work. Does anyone
knows how to make it work ? Does anyone uses other indexing tools to index
Onenote files and attachments ?

I'm not aware of a plugin for Google or any other tool. OneNote supports
ifilters so it should be somewhat easy for someone to write.

The search from within OneNote is still pretty good if you don't want to
install WDS.

Really??? I thought OneNote had to use WDS to index and search. Are you
saying you can turn that off (in Control Panel) and ON will still index?
