OneNote\InfoPath 2003 SP-1 Preview Install

i have onenote 2003 on my computer and when i go to
install the preview release of the service pack, it says
that i have an earlier version of it on my computer and
have to unistall it before i continue. This also happens
with the InfoPath 2003 Service Pack 1 Preview.


I was just wanting to know if i have pre-release versions
of the product, as i know when you have pre-release
versions of any product, you can't update it. But the
thing is i have download all of the office 2003 updates
(KB) and they install fine.

InfoPath Version 11.5531.5703
OneNote Version 11.5510.5703

Another thing is as the service packs previews are a
pretty big download, and i was just thinking that thos
particular sp's are the actual program with the service
pack intergrated.

Yup that's what they are, and yes you have to uninstall your current
versions before you can install either preview.

You can also wait until the final Service Packs are available (roughly end
of July) - they will be the usual patches that are smaller and can be
applied directly to the orginal version without uninstalling.
