My Notebook is becoming sluggish when I use Onenote. It is now so slow that
you notice it updating. What's wrong

When was the last time you checked your system with your anti-virus program
running the latest definitions? When did you last check for malware,
spyware, parasites or hijackers? The computer slowing down in processing is
a good sign of those issues being present.

I'm having the same problem. Other applications are running fine, including
all the other MS Office applications such as PPT. It's just this OneNote
that's slowing down. I got my fujitsu tablet one month ago. Still have
pleanty of memory, No virus. I of course did the defrag...actually, that was
the first thing I did. Anyone have any insight on this problem?

I don't know, but perhaps you're running up against the known bug of the Ink
"leaking" memory. We've covered it quite a bit in the
microsoft.public.windows.tabletpc newsgroup, but what is happening after
heaving Ink usage the system will slow down. Basic solution: Restart.
I've posted several times over there a small batch file which will stop and
restart the Ink system.

If you're immediately seeing a slowdown without having Inked in a while,
have you tried going to OneNote's Help and using the Detect & Repair?
