OneNote memory bug

Hi all

I'm using OneNote 2007 RTM and i love it. The problem is that it slowly
uses all of my virtual memory. I dont turn off my Win XP sp2 offic pc
at night. I reboot it only when new updates require it. By now it's
been running about 1 week. By now ONENOTE.EXE uses ca. 57mb ram and
1.5gb of virtual memory. The longer ONenote runs the more virtual
memory it uses.
Does other people expirience this as well or am I the only one?

1.5 GB of VM? Ouch. Can you give us some details on the computer you
have, operating system, what kind of notes you take (ink or no ink), how
large all your notebooks are combined in MB/GB and where the notebooks
are stored (local disk, LAN, WebDAV, sharepoint server)?

Thanks,

Are you sharing a notebook with people who don't have OneNote 2007 RTM? For
example are you sharing any notes with people who have OneNote 2007 B2TR?
There is a known issue when you share OneNote sections between
users/computers when everyone isn't running the same version.

Are you doing this?

Hi again

sorry about the late reply. I've removed sharing on a shared notebook.
I'll post back on how this works.
Tech spec:
Combined size of all notebooks: 11 mb on local disk
Win XP sp2 (up to date with windowsupdate)
OneNote 2007 RTM
Workstation dual 2.8 ghz Xeon, 1.5 gb ram, dual 74gb harddrive

Thank you for the replies.

Hi again

The unsharing of notebooks solved the problem. Thank you for the
advice.
