OneNote mobile installation?

When I try to install OneNote Mobile from OneNote 2007, I get the following
message:

"Before you install OneNote Mobile, you must install the update to Windows
Mobile Device Center. For more information on Windows Mobile Device Center,
visti the Windows Mobile site at http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile."

I've downloaded and upgraded the Windows Mobile Device Center on Vista but I
continue to get the Error message.

Any clues why?

I also get this problem with my Samsung i780 and HTC TynTn devices running
WM6.0. I use Vista 64 and have uninstalled WMDC, reinstalled, installed the
latest 6.1 patch and still cannot get OneNote to sync. I can run OneNote on
my devices and PC but there is no option to sync them together. When I open
OneNote on my PC, choose Tools/Options/OneNote Mobile, the 'Install OneNote
Mobile...' button is greyed out.

All in all I have never got OneNote to sync between my PDA and PC despite
reading all posts and doing everything I know of. If anyone has any
suggestions please advise
