OneNote Mobile, Vista and Mobile Device Center

I have Vista and Office 2007 Beta releases running on a Motion
Computing M1400 tablet PC. Everything installed without a problem and
runs bug-free with one exception - synchronizing with WM5- based
OneNote Mobile. whenever I use Vista's Mobile Device Center to try
and set the parameters of the tablet PC-WM5 OneNote synchronization,
the Mobile Device Center freezes, the tablet PC locks up and a reboot
is required to get everything running again.

Pages from OneNote will actually synchronize, and appear on, the WM5
device, but I want to configure the operation so that my SP5 smart
phone and my Jasjar PDA both sync to the same tablet PC OneNote
section and share a single set of notes. The Mobile Device Center
freezes whenever I attempt to change the OneNote sync settings,
irrespective of which WM5 device is connected at the time.

Has anyone else experienced this vexing situation?

Probably a Vista-related issue.

You realize you are running three Beta's? Vista, OneNote and WMDC (which is
really independent of Vista). Yes I have had lockups with OneNote, WMDC and
Vista, together and individually. Submit a bug as suggested. I would submit
the lockups as bugs. What you are wanting to do though is a feature that
likely won't be directly offered. It would be similar to wanting ActiveSync
to sync the same files folder for two different mobile devices. That has
never been a standard option, though the software can be tricked to do so. I
wouldn't be as hopeful that this will work with OneNote as it seems they
went through the effort to make independent tabs in OneNote for each mobile
device..

Yes, I understand that I'm running three Betas and, with the exception
of the observations I made regarding Mobile Device Center and OneNote,
the whole installation is remarkably stable. I submitted a bug report
as suggested - no movement on it yet, but it's early days. BTW - I
noticed that Mobile Device Center Beta V2 was released a few hours ago
- any insight into what the differences are between that and the
original release? Windows update shows that V2 installed correctly,
but the installed Mobile Divice Center still shows Windows Mobile
Device Center with no mention of V2, but build of 6.0.5460. You
wouldn't happen to know the build number of V2 would you?
