OneNote - need insertion point button.

As far as I can tell, there is no intuitive way to switch from the "Pens"
mode in MS OneNote back to the insertion point. Maybe that's not a problem
if you're working on a Tablet PC, but I'm working on a standard PC.

Also - what about a PDA version of this software? Any plans? I was hoping
this would have a PDA module with it.

There is the "Type/Selection" tool on the Standard toolbar, placed by default
between the Eraser and the Delete tool. That should restore the insertion
point.

Other than the data transfer improvements with SP1, there is no version for
the Pocket PC/Windows Mobile platform. It's come up here as a request
several times, and I'd guess that MS is considering better mobile support for
the next version of OneNote.
