OneNote needs tags.

What Is This?
Taglocity is an Add-In application to Microsoft Outlook 2003. It allows
you to add tags to your email, tasks, calendar and contacts. Taglocity
uses a simple user interface that doesn't change the way you like to
work. Taglocity helps you tag with:

====AutoTags ==== Taglocity learns from how you tag and adds tags
automatically to your content. This uses a similar technology to spam
AI filters, and learns from your actions to improve in accuracy over
time.

====TravelingTags ====Taglocity allows your tags to travel to other
people you send and receive messages from. These tags can help clarify
your intent of the message, as well as serve as useful shared
information to collaborate around. Powerful aliasing allows you to
match up your tags with other peoples.

==== Search Tags ====Taglocity uses Microsoft's Windows Desktop Search
to present a tag-based query feature. This allows you to find things
very quickly in the context of your tags.

==== TagActions ==== Perform automatic actions for common tasks when
you tag anything in Outlook. TagActions include turning email into
tasks, moving to folders, setting other tags and more.

Tagging should be at the level of the page.

OneNote with Tags ... We'd be talking about a revolution here !

It could actually make OneNote useful as an information resource. I
know, I know, OneNote is just for notes .. I just always wanted more.

I haven't used the OneNote 2003, But I'm trying OneNote 2007 now. The tags in
the ON 2007 are very useful, even user can customize the tag by themselves. I
often use the "E-mail", "To do" tags. And you can also add Outlook task flags
in your page. OneNote is not only a notebook now. It's powerful!

The next beta version of ON 2007 will have tags. Daniel dropped a hint
in a screenshot on his blog.

EMRhelp.org - I'm scoobiesnacks, we've actually both been campaigning for
tags for a long time in Onenote.
I just hope its more than just another name for noteflags, ie I hope we
don't have restrictions to 100 max noteflags, and I hope we can see the name
of the tag/noteflag on screen

HI !

I'm doubtful about tagging in OneNote.
I never used noteflags in OneNote 2003, they didn't seem all that
useful/reliable for a program that was "just for taking notes".

The tagging I would like to see is very darn similar to how Tagalocity
does it.
