OneNote new subpage shoule use stationery of parent page

One note does not propogate stationery of parent page to subpage if you right
click on parent page tab and choose new subpage. Ditto if you click on the
new subpage tab with the parent tab selected.

It will if you click on one of the subpages and use the right click - new
subpage or if click the new subpage tab.

Not uniform behavior, caused me about an hour of frustration. I want my
pages to use the same stationery for the same topic (project)

This seems like a good idea to me.

I am not sure why there are subpages, and what are the implications of
a subpage. All I see is the subpage Tab is a wee bit smaller.

Subpages were intended to allow a Tablet user tocreate multiple pages which
are kept together and treated as a single "unit" without requiring a lot of
scrolling. Working with a 10 page note is somewhat difficult when you only
have a Tablet pen.
