ONENOTE OFFICE 2003 toolbar Missing

L

Leroy

At first, I had a OneNote toolbar in each of the Office components, Word,
Outlook, etc..

It has disappeared. I tried the detect and repair function in Office and in
OneNote. Neither recreated the OneNote toolbar. I have checked the list of
selectable toolbars and there is not one that can be selected for OneNote.

Any suggestions how to reactivate the Office 2003 OneNote Toolbar in Word,
Outlook, etc.?

There isn't an automatic OneNote toolbar in other Office programs that I
know of, Leroy. Are you sure you weren't using one of the PowerToys
add-ins?

Chris, you might be on to something.

I do not know how or where the integrated toolbar came from in the other
Office 2003 components. I will have to see if one of the powertoys I loaded
might be what created this toolbar came from -- I do not recall if one of the
powertoys created the toolbar.

Thanks for the quick response

I believe in my case the only two I've used have been with Outlook and IE.
Otherwise, I haven't ever seen one which if Office-wide. Never.

Good job. I looked at the powertoys and the tow you mention are it.
I had detected and repaired Office and OneNote after an add-in for outlook
caused a dll error message. The detect and repairs seem to have disabled the
powertoys.
Thank you.

Yes, Detect and Repair knows nothing about add-ins, and will place your
Office programs (not counting OneNote) back the their original state. You
may also want to check on Office Update to make sure everything is still
updated, too.
