OneNote on a desktop

I have loads of college notes on paper ( diagrams and text) that I would like
to organise more efficiently. Is it possible to say scan these into Onenote
and have the text searchable or is that specifically a digital ink ( i.e
table pc) thing?

Thanks for any help

OneNote does not natively do OCR on scanned documents, and even if you
somehow get scans of these documents onto a Tablet PC, the data in the
scanned files is not "Digital Ink", the data format used on a Tablet PC to
enable handwriting recognition and searching.

You would have to find some other way of scanning and performing OCR
outside of OneNote then import or copy/paste the resulting text into
OneNote.
