OneNote *.one Support?

While there's still a 2008-Demo missing, maybe you can help me...

I need to know, wether the notice book function of word 2008 is compatible to the *.one-Files of OneNote. If not, i'll still have to run Off07 in VM Ware :-(.

Sadly no. Just tried it to make sure I was not mistaken. Would have
been REALLY nice. I must admit I feel a little let down by Microsoft
on Office2008. Normally I've been quite supportive of them but they
just made to many odd decisions for things to NOT put into this
version that make me scratch my head......

Overall I still like 2008 better than 2004, but killing macros?
Common guys.....

I reviewed the features, that I currently use in OneNote. With the result: I only use the special structure, links and the ability to insert tables very fast.

So I think I will install MAMPP on OS X and choose a good CMS ;-), maybe Silverstripe or Wordpress, in order to make my notes...
