Onenote or Tablet bug

When I make notes in one note 2007 with numbering outlines and the
cursor is next to the next blank entry (say a) ) and I write my note
using the TIP writing pad and press insert, the text does not go to
the a) line where the cursor is, but on the previous line..

Is this a known issue or?

Hello,

I tried to reproduce this bug report but could not. I was using Vista on a
tablet with ON 2007.

Here's what I did:
1. created a new page and clicked in it
2. clicked the toobar button to enable numbered bullet points
2.5 (this created a line 1 bullet point)
3. used the TIP to enter the letter a and clicked insert
4. (the letter a was inserted, and the cursor remained on line 1)
5. in the TIP, I clicked ENTER
5.5 (this created a line 2 bullet point, and focus was set there)
6. I used the tip to enter the letter b and clicked Insert

result:
the letter b was inserted on line 2

It sounds like you are getting different behavior at step 5.5. Is this what
is happening for you? Can you provide step by step directions similar to
these for what you are doing to reproduce the behavior?

I have the same problem as (e-mail address removed). Also using XP tablet
edition. 100% repeatable.

It's really there. It's incredibly annoying. It's a borderline "give up on
the tablet PC" issue. Probably will be in time given the drip, drip, drip of
frustration.

I can't upgrade to Vista since Fujitsu doesn't support Vista on this model.
Actually, I tried. Simply not enough driver support. Two weeks Later, back to
XP.

MS: please try again to repro; this time on XP.

John,

I am using One Note 2007 with XP and have the same exact problem.

Did you find a soultion?

Checkmate.

I replied earlier that I had the same problem, but I see we're making no
headway here.

This serious bug compounds the other inking quirks and makes inking unusable
for me in One Note. I give up. If I can't have a functional tablet with One
Note, next stop MB Pro. Will there be a version of One Note in MacOffice?
