OneNote Question about Dates

Can a due date be entered or created for an item in OneNote?

Well, sure. Just type one. :)

If you're looking for a reminder capability OneNote doesn't have it. But
you could use OneNote to create an Outlook task item which could have a
reminder.

Thanks! That partially helps. I am not looking so much for a reminder as
for a "field" that could contain a due date for a task. I am looking for
something to replace Symantec's GrandView (formerly ThinkTank) which has been
the main stay of my planning and ToDo list for a long time. Want to be able
to organize projects, tasks, subtasks, etc. - which Outlook doesn't allow for
- and assign dates. GrandView has been great but it is DOS-based and
difficult to use running Windows XP. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
I am trying to avoid getting into full project management software.
Outlining (multiple levels) with the ability to assign categories and dates
would meet my needs.

You can use Note Flags for categorization and you can just insert or type
a date anywhere you like. It's not structured but you can create Note
Flag summaries and search on dates.
