OneNote Reminders "for later"

I get frustrated in that within the note flags you can "remind for later",
but with my intense schedule, I can't always check. I WISH THERE WOULD BE
SOMETHING ON MY MACHINE THAT WOULD POP UP A REMINDER of the important event
JUST LIKE MSN MESSENGER does with their email issues.

Is this possible with creating a OneNote ALERT?

They develop this beautiful software, but make it so difficult with so many
variables one puts or places on OneNote to have "IT" REMIND YOU OF A VERY
IMPORTANT EVENT OR REMINDER.".

Any thoughts from anyone out there? If they are going to make their products
consistent and people live and breath Microsoft Products, there should be
crosss-compatibility, especially with reminders that are critical.

If there is a way, someone, with all due respect, let me know...

Michael,

You can currently use Outlook to provide you with scheduled reminders.

I am sure that lots of OneNote users hope for better integration in
Office 12.
